Arbi Laziz

Ingredients:   Method:

1 lb Arbi

1/4 tsp Ajwain seeds
chili powder to taste
rock salt to taste
a pinch of mango powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tbsp ginger green chili paste

3 tbsp Oil


Boil the Arbi. Cool, peel and slice each into half. Heat the oil and fry the Arbi till slightly golden.

Take 1 tbsp oil and heat in a pan. Add ajwain seeds and put ginger green chili paste to the oil and fry for 2 minutes. Add salt, coriander powder, mango powder and mix well.

Add fried arbi and stir fry on a slow fire.


Serve hot with kotu parathas.
